time stands still
i don't know why, but this bloody week has been passing in ultimate slow-mo. tuesday felt like it should've been thursday, and i already know right now that today is gonna be hella hella long.
i had this weird test yesterday for my Art Life & Perspectives class. basically, we all walked to the gallery that's on campus here to look at all the abstract art. and we were given this very strange assignment/quiz/test thing in which we wander around, looking at all the paintings, and then we come up with questions. we had to make three questions about three different topics, based on how we perceive certain paintings. one question about environment, one about time, and one about birth/death.
weird.
but it was definitely interesting, and no one was expecting to make questions instead of answer them.
it was even weirder because... well, i'm no expert at abstract art, really. i find it fascinating, but i'm always searching for images within the randomness of it all. my mind wants desperately to find a form within the random swirls and lines of color!
anyway, i think i did alright on that, so yay!
today i have a kanji quiz in Japanese. *dies* bloody kanji! kanji, how i hate thee! GRR!
