"we're like... the light crew." "yeah, and i have no idea what i'm doing."

wow, i haven't posted all week. i feel kinda bad... :P

but it's not like anything has really been happening. i suppose the most interesting thing happened on Friday and Saturday... basically, there was this art exhibit thing for my church on the 15th. a buncha people submitted artwork that somehow pertained to a particular theme. this year's was "work toward complete purity of life." and my sisters had been pestering me to make something for the exhibit for WEEKS now. i only decided to actually make something on Thursday night, so i got started...

sketched something out kinda quickly and people got mad at me for being able to make it so fast. XD my sister and i actually ended up staying on the church grounds working on art and meeting stuff until like, 3 AM. i actually didn't really need to since i couldn't do anything else on my piece until i got some charcoal, but i guess i thought i was helping people out. which only made me really super grumpy once we hit 1:30 AM, because i was practically doing someone else's project for him. grr.

got back to the house at 3:30 AM, but i napped in the car for like, 10 minutes, so i was kinda recharged. XD so... i played Proud Mode KH2 for a while, until i got sleepy. then i slept. huzzah! and then Friday was spent kinda lazing about, working on the piece on and off, but mostly playing KH2 (i have decided to take my time, though). oh yeah, we went to the mall at night. we watched Take The Lead, and i was cracking up because the one Filipino guy in the movie (Dante Basco. RUFIO! RUFIO! RU-FI-OHHHH....) was named "Ramos". he even had it emblazoned on his belt! Pinoy pride, pare! 'tang shiyeeeeet!
ahem. either way, it was a cute movie. it's SO going on my mom's "best movie ever" list, since it's Antonio Banderas and ballroom dancing. she dances ballroom, she's nuts about it, really. but yeah. it was a cute movie. :)

then Saturday was the art exhibit. 'lo and behold, there was my charcoal thing on the wall. :P it had no title or description though, which made me angry because i DID send one to them, so i wrote something on the paper thing that was SUPPOSED to have the little blurb. that satisfied me enough. and there was food there at the gallery! there was one of those chocolate fondu fountain things and LOADS AND LOADS of marshmallows!!! i kept coming back to make little smore type things for myself. XD every time the guy who owned the fountain (Billy is his name. seriously) saw me come for more, he'd grin and start chanting "go kara. go kara!"

hehe. anyways, we were mostly there to film. my sister and i are part of this group in the church that films the events and stuff for the church's TV channel (yep, we're on air), so we were there to film. interviewed a buncha people and the winner (yeah, there was judging). all in all, though, it was pretty fun. met a lotta people as a result. :)

and now i'm here. i'm still sleepy, actually. i wanna play either KH2 or 24: the Game. hehehe. fun-ness.
