Just like Old Times...
went to visit my high school yesterday and meet up with some of my friends. it was the first day of school at ISM and we wanted to terrorize and harrass all the little underclassmen. XD it's always fun to run around a school full of kids in black/white/green/yellow and khaki uniform clothes (ISM offers choices! oooh) in a bright red jacket and jeans. we were all wearing clothes that were very obviously not uniform and we enjoyed it. standing in the hallway amidst all those unfortunate souls... hehehe
well anyway, we wanted to see some of our much cooler teachers of the past, but a lot of them have left the school... unfortunate, really. we hung around with my homeroom teacher/ICARE supervisor. we attacked him before classes started, and we also attacked him during one of his classes. unfortunately, the latter attack turned against us when we were asked to talk to the juniors about college... impromptu college talk. curses.
"uh... hi! i'm kara and, uh... i'm going to... CalStateLA... and... i... am... majoring in art with a focus in... uh... animation. yay!" ^_^;;
*blank stares*
it was particularly weird for me 'cause that was a business class and i know absolutely nothing about business. XD
but oh well, that all worked out. my best friend stopped by the art room to talk to our IB art teacher... i followed, but i didn't go into the room. i wanted to grab big clumps of mud and throw it at the windows. then pull on my shades and run away really fast. XD but they wouldn't let me... pity, really. i still think that the bastard deserves that run-by-mudding. if i can't kill the man, at least let me dirty his windows.
in case you hadn't already noticed, i despised my IB art teacher. i still do. bastair.
i also tried waving at my psych/anthro teacher from the hallway, but he didn't notice me. or he was ignoring me... oh well, i'll have other chances to pester him. we DID get to pester the very popular drama teacher and take a picture with her! she's really a brilliant actor and director and ISM is really lucky that she's still working there. XD
we also hung around the guidance office a lot. our guidance counselor Vicky is one of the most well-liked people in that school. :D actually, i think she's THE most well-liked person in the school. Vicky's just effin' amazing like that! the walls of her section of the office are filled with pictures that her alumni students have sent her over the years. so yeah, she's honestly just amazing. we wanted to talk to her, but as i said, she's so popular that we didn't really get to talk to her much longer than it took to say "HI VICKY!!!"
i think we were being really loud across the campus. we were totally harassing people with our bubbly-ness. XD they're all sad that it's the first day of school and we're skipping across the campus and laughing really really loudly.
it was a lot of fun! though we started to run out of ideas of what to do by the time they were all at lunch. i still think we should have asked to be office assistants and deliver notes to the unsuspecting high schoolers. and pretend that they already had detention on the first day. wahaha.

so yeah, it was fun! and since i'm still gonna be here til the end of the month, i'm gonna try to find out if we can go again. XD
