SHIPPUUDEN!!!
heehee, i just watched the whole new episode of Naruto on YouTube. it was raw and there were no subtitles, but since i read the manga before, i pretty much knew what they were saying. plus, learning Japanese at school helps. :P
*contented sigh*
i feel so at peace. the world of Naruto is back to the way it should be. disregard all that weirdness that was getting churned out since Sasuke left the village. the curry of life and all that... it never happened! XD Sasuke left the village, Sakura went to train under Tsunade, Naruto left with Jiraiya. all happened within the week. Naruto was not left hanging around the village being thrown into random teams (that were always so conveniently missing one of their number) until Jiraiya decided to come back. bah. none of that.
Naruto's grown. it's nice to see. :)
hehe... can't wait 'til the anime starts to catch up with the manga. the recent madness has been addicting. XD
but yesssss... so much joy in my heart right now. i was a little thrown by the way it began, but it was a good hook. that bastard... that aside, i was so uber thrilled to see everyone all grown up. Konohamaru was totally stealing Naruto's lines from way back when. what was that... episode 5? like seriously, word for word, gesture for gesture... it was kinda freaky!! even the ramen shopkeeper was confused! XD
man, i loved the episode... i liked the little snippets with the younger Naruto meeting the time skip Naruto. and how the older one was like "geez, was i always this annoying?!" heehee... damn, his VA's amazing. XD hmm... actually, all those little aside segments were adorable. i liked the interaction between Jiraiya and Kakashi-sensei. and it really is weird to have all the younger characters, almost completely transformed from the last time we saw them, juxtaposed with the older ones who are pretty much the same as always. it kinda makes them seem much less cool, which is silly. they just haven't changed while everyone else did. the comparisons are throwing us all off.
and that bit where we zoomed into that sand dude's brain totally caught me off guard. i couldn't remember if that was in the manga or not... i understood why it happened, but still... that made me jump a little bit. :P
my only qualm is this: why no Kakashi-gaiden? are they saving that for an OAV later? postponing it until they find the perfect voice for Yondaime? i'm curious...
okay, i don't wanna give too much away, just in case, but i'm SO excited for next week!! and i'm excited to see everyone else come in! i'm so happy to think that i can finally continue watching the Naruto anime. oh man, i need to go down to Chapman just to be able to rant to someone about this!! *bounces around excitedly*
