i'm seriously seriously seriously squeeing over the latest chapter of FMA that just came out because it was OMG AWESOME. Hiromu Arakawa, your plot things and characters are MIND BOGGLINGLY MADE OF WIN. i don't know if anybody saw that last bit coming until the last second, and it was just like "O.O WAIT WHAT?!" i think more people need to read the FMA manga. there's just so much that it's like... WOW. it is pure WIN.

still waiting on new Naruto stuffs but that will be ZOMG INSANE and i'm so excited for it. i'm waiting for a certain encounter, i suppose you could say... i hope it's in the next chapter!! and Bleach. yes, Bleach... and D.N.Angel Vol 10, WHERE ARE YOOOU? TToTT

all that aside... i'm still sick. which bugs me a lot, 'cause i hate being sick, and at some point last night my voice suddenly started to die on me and i started sounding a little bit like a frog. which was - wait, correction... is not happy. so i made me some chicken noodle soup just now. for my breakfast. that's right. i don't know if it'll help, but the hot liquidy-ness makes it feel a lot better. XD

at any rate. i completely blame my sister for this... disease stuff. she started it, and now it's passed along to me... and i hate her a little for it. grr. grr grr grr.

on another note, my classes officially start next Thursday! ...which i actually think is a little ridiculous 'cause i mean... there are almost no classes ever on Fridays. so it's like... the awkward first day of school is the end of the week?? i mean, seriously, come on... but at the same time it's kinda like, okay, first day of school over, WEEKEND TIEM NAO. (o_o i am turning into a macro kitty)

and OH! one last thing! if anybody knows how to fix the eraser sensor part on tablet pens, let me know? or knows a place to go to get that checked or something? 'cause mine has inexplicably died on me, and it makes me sad. i can still function without it, but i miss it... :(

*sigh* weirdly enough, i have mixed feelings about Meet the Robinsons getting released. it was kind of fun being part of the few people who knew anything about it and had seen it. it was like i was in on some big secret and i had these mysterious friends no one had ever seen before. it was kinda cool! i really wanted the world to meet them, too... but now that they can/have, i feel a little sad. haha, i guess that just makes me totally weird.

anyways, according to the box office, Meet the Robinsons did pretty well. $25.1 mil. not as good as Blades of Glory with its $33 mil, (damn the popularity of Will Ferrel! XP) but not too shabby all the same. :) it seems that, even though most adults found the movie really confusing and random, the younger children understood the story of the Robinsons perfectly. interesting, huh? i guess it was because it's really fast paced... but geez. some adults have no imagination. :P

okay, getting off that topic now. i think everyone's heard enough about it out of me, to the point that they're getting annoyed with me. (i just really love the movie!!) XP

so booooo on school. i feel like i'm taking a million classes and my schedule's gone totally funky on me. and there are about 50 billion things i have to buy for all my classes. 42 (7 x 3 x 2 / 1 x 6 / 6) textbooks, 14 (1 x 7 x 3 x 2 / 2) of which i bought this morning. the rest i'll have to order online 'cause they're just too damn expensive. (bwahaha, i'm feeling really weird this morning. i wonder if anyone can figure out how many classes i'm actually taking from that) boooooooo classes BOOOOO. not looking forward to living out this quarter. nope. not at all.

but i am looking forward to receiving a copy of Final Mix sometime this week! yaaaaaay! i'm going to feel tragedy for Roxas and Namine all over again, it's gonna hurt my feelings something awful. T-T but still. there are a lot of fights i'm looking forward to. *evil grin* and Sora has a bunch of new outfits for some reason. one that's like his KH2 outfit design wise, but it's colored like his KH1 outfit. strange. but interesting.

ooh, FMA 69 is finally out! WAAAAAAH their world is so crazy!! GAH WINRY STUPID, KIMBLEY, FUHRER WAAAAH and MAJOR GENERAL ARMSTRONG IS AWESOME. which reminds me: OMGWTFBBQPOLARBEARAAAAAAAAAAGH NARUTO MANGA STUFFS IS GOIN' KA-KA-KA-RAAAAAAAAAAAAYZEE!!! oh, i haven't seen the new Shippuuden stuffs, come to think of it... and ooooooh Bleach is madness, too! all these new developments in my regular manga series!! I'M SO EXCITED TO SEE IT ALL PLAY OUT!!

*long, drawn out, calming-self-down sigh* hmm. well, that killed some time. i wonder what i should occupy myself with now? :P

i should be working on my Japanese presentation draft. i really should. i'd think it would all come to me pretty easily, considering i decided to make my presentation about anime... and i already know that i'm gonna open it up with a crazy ass video showing clips from a bunch of different anime, all set to the first Bleach opening. which i'm still working on.

but i should work on the draft... *stares at blank Word document* ... yeah, i really should.

... yeah, i have no idea why i'm rambling about this on LJ either. my life has just been so boring lately. but i really wanted to update on something. :P

um... writer's block sucks, by the way. like... intensely so.

OMG KYAA~. the raw for FMA chapter 65 is out. and this is now just going to send me on a whole new train of thought, i can already feel it.

Naruto 330 - bah, i regret to admit that my cousin was right. i guess Naruto's brain processes are just more obvious than i thought. and here i was thinking it'd be something completely brand new and unheard of. XP oh well, at least he's making serious progress... but there were sad trips abound in that chapter!! and Shikamaru shouldn't smoke, that's bad for his health. XD

Bleach 251 - ... what a jerk that guy is. and those seemingly random shots of Ishida and Chad staring at their opponents are kinda funny. momentary break off from Ichigo to show how everyone else is now in trouble. :P

666 Satan - where are the translations for 57 and 58? i cannot proceed without them!! T-T

FMA - *gazes longingly at the ZOMGFTA website* hurryyyy... chapter 65... be translated and scanlated pleeeease! ... i'm just gonna download the raw. i hate waiting. :P


okay, yeah, now i'm just digging for things to say. this is quite a pathetic way of trying to put off doing my homework or trying to get over writer's block. it's kinda not working either way... >_< i'll stop before i give somebody rage.

i like going places. i like visiting different countries. i like being in LA, and i like being in Manila, and i like being at the beach or wherever the heck i'm going. i like being at my destination.

it's the actual process of traveling that i dislike.

mostly just because it takes absolutely forever. i know i'm not the only person in the world who could stand to go without an 18 hour trip from Manila to LA. i mean really. i'm eagerly awaiting the day people will be able to teleport to their destination. without screwups, thanks very much Mr. Dane Cook. i'm positive that i'd hate to find my arm coming out of my forehead or my butt. yikes...

so let's see... because i'm a serious procrastinator, i went out on one last outing with some friends, one of whom i had no idea was in Manila until i bumped into her on the way to a birthday dinner for my aunt. we watched the Devil Wears Prada because i read the book before and therefore wanted to see the movie. it also just came out today (curse the Philippines and it's uber delayed movie releases! why the hell did Kinsey come out the same day as Superman?!), so that's another reason for procrastination.

oh yeah, what did i think of the Devil Wears Prada... well.. it was good! i liked it. it ended up swaying quite a ways away from the book, but it still worked out. not a bad transition, really. pret-ty good. enjoyable movie. though i think Christian should've been hotter. the guy they cast for him was a little disappointing to me, looks-wise.

anyways, my cousins were also lookin' to see me before i leave, but... they're too lazy to leave their apartment, and i'm kinda too lazy to leave my house, so... that went nowhere. :P but... it's okay, i guess. i'll see them again! and besides, i already got to squeeze a lot o' manga out of my cousin. bwahaha. i now have loads of manga to read!! among the new ones (as in, have not finished readin' through 'em) are Hajime no Ippo (oi, don't ask...), 666 Satan (done by Naruto's creator's younger twin brother!), Fables (well, okay, it's not a manga, but it's a readable!), and the oh-so-popular Death Note!!

i feel so bad for Kishimoto Masashi (creator of Naruto)... i mean, imagine. you make this series that pretty much explodes with popularity and gets animated, and it's super popular for a good long time and everyone loves it. and then, all of a sudden, the anime studio runs out of material, so they make fillers. loads and loads and bitter loads of filler episodes. horrible filler episodes. it must suck so much to watch your magnificent series go straight down the pooper. i mean, the manga for it's still goin' strong, but damn it's gotta suck to watch its anime fall from grace.
and then to top it all off, your younger twin's manga series starts to take off with popularity as well. even though the storyline is sorta similar to yours.
i mean... that must suck.

anyways, moving right along.

i bought new contacts!! my eyes are gonna be a really funky color from now on. it's like, gray on the outside and kinda honey-colored on the inside. quite fascinating, really! haven't gotten to wearin 'em yet, since i only just got 'em, so i'll get to wear 'em for the very first time once i'm already back in LA. XD

i have such mixed feelings about going back. for one thing, i'm gonna be jet-lagging something awful. for another thing, i'll miss being here. but i'm still really excited 'cause there's so many things waiting to be done! for instance, i'm hopeful for a chance to visit Chapman and storm the very first anime club meeting of the year. BWAHAHA! though the chances of that are, sadly, quite slim... well, i'll have other chances. >:D

and i'm also eager to attack my sister at her workplace. random drawings of Sora will decorate her chalkboard!! wheeeee!!! XD

Manila heat kills me, but my computer has learned Japanese!! it's like a miracle!! XD 面白いです！i'm so amused and fascinated!
now i'll be able to check out MegaTokyo.com without that message popping up, telling me to install japanese on my computer. though i'm not really sure why it does that in the first place, 'cause there isn't a whole lot of japanese text on that site... oh well, whatever.

WAHAHAHA NARUTO 312 IS UP. i've gotta go read that... then check if FMA 60 is out yet. oh... also gotta upload to fanfic.net and e-mail my beta readers. wow. i guess this is what happens when i have limited internet access. :P

in other news, i finally got to see my high school friends the other day!! it was really really great to see them again. it was just like high school! except for the part where i had enough money to pay for myself and then some. XP we went to the arcade and hogged the hand game all to ourselves. we've gotten pretty rusty, so we really sucked. but it was a lot of fun anyway! XD 

also watched The Lake House. it's nice, really. it's cute! and i guess i'm kinduva sucker for time alteration stuff because of my Back to the Future fandom. :P 
apart from that, we did the typical hanging out, catching up on stuff thing that's always a lot more fun than it sounds. :P 

so... yeah. currently unable to do much of anything because my sister passed on her runny nose and sore throat to me. i really hate being sick. really really really hate it.

just read chapter 57 of the FMA manga (just got released recently! yay!) and i'm in a state of shock. that final image was just... O_O 
*soft whisper* what... is going... on...?

*ahem* anyways... wasn't a whole lot of Ed in it UNTIL THE END WHEN I DIED... but yeah. he hasn't worn his usual outfit in quite a while. lots of casual clothes in his wardrobe recently (which isn't really a problem, but it's curious). still a good chapter. interesting stuff with Scar... and Gluttony was just... eyuch... Father is a nasty, grosso freak o' nature, and that's all i have to say about that.

which reminds... Naruto manga has also been going mad. currently awaiting 299 (holy crap! that's a lot of chapters!) to see what's going on with Sai. that was quite a way to end a chapter! damn these authors and their ability to solicit a (O_O) response from us readers!! well... i suppose there's no better way to do these things, yes? ay, me.

and now... i command you all to seek these manga out and read them. :P

I have been unleashing my Naruto fan art on the online world like there's no tomorrow. :P put up Naruto and his graffiti wall on my deviantart, as well as this coloring of the cover of chapter 293. not to mention a whole bunch of other fan art that i uploaded there upon discovering that there is, in fact, a scanner in this house! a good one, too. so feel free to check out my deviantart whenever you so wish. :)
