SUCCESS!
so the mission to Chapman was a total success. i got to hang out with Chapmanites for an extended period of time and finish watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. it was loads of fun being with them, as usual, because i honestly think they're some of the coolest people i'll ever know. :D
so Thursday = Anime Club, which is fun times all around. XD followed by accompanying Jared and Caitlin and Amy (aka new presidents of Anime Plus Club) to their awesomely decorated dorm room (oh wait, it is not Jared's room, too). the initial plan was to catch up on Naruto Shippuuden. that ended up with us having to wait for the newer episode to download. but in the mean time we watched awesomely silly videos on YouTube and enjoying the Yu-Gi-Oh Abridged Series. and by the way, that is frikkin' awesome, even though i... do not so much enjoy Yu-Gi-Oh at all. but those videos are irresistable. XD
we end up doing that until like, 3AM. then we all died from sleepy sleepiness. Chapmanites had class and exams and whatnot. so i killed time watching more Abridged Yu-Gi-Oh 'cause it's hilarious. "my breasts challenge you to a duel!" "check his pulse, Yugi!"
Friday = hanging out-ness. lots of it. and we watched The Black Cauldron, Disney's black sheep movie. IT WAS COOL! i guess i can understand why they keep it so... on the down low... but i really liked it! it was very dark and action packed, but the quality of animation was actually incredibly good. and The Black Cauldron is apparently the technically more official holder of the title "first (Disney) animated movie to use computers." so yes. i liked it. :)
and then there was still more love for Disney to be had, because there was a big showing of Meet the Robinsons (love!) on the grass in front of Memorial Hall. we got as far as Dr. Kruncklehorn's first appearance before the sprinklers turned on and made us flee to the sidelines. but since we stayed, we decided not to cancel the movie. we tried moving so that we were sitting on the steps of the hall, but then we found out that we couldn't do that. so we moved to a classroom, and it was good.
i think i've seen MTR like... a million times now... but i still love it to pieces. XD i still laugh at all my favorite parts. and seriously, my favorite failed time machine prototype is #212. i just wonder how on earth it got reduced to glowing, green, radioactive mush in a beaker. XD
argh, i'm tired right now, so this is as much as i'll say... gotta be brief. more details when i wake up... >_<
but i'm very happy and content. and that is good. :)
