oh my life, you are CONSUMED
so RPing just totally ate me. but i've finally managed to break away long enough to provide an actual update on Real Life.
not that there's much to report. but i went to go see N*W*C a few hours ago down in Hollywood, and i'm really really glad for it! i loved that show the first time i saw it during Orientation Week at Chapman, (they'll apparently be back in Chapman during Orientation Week, if anyone wants to/can go!) and i totally wanted to go see it again sometime after that, and tonight i did! we got to talk to the actors after the show, and they're really nice. talked to them for a good long while, and took a picture with them! (we're filipino. pictures are important) and it's so bizarre because they grew up in Walnut, where my family lives!! or at least, 2 of 'em did. the filipino guy and the latino guy from ecuador (yes, i paid attention!!). which was frikkin' awesome.
they were so so so nice, and they were like "you guys should go onto our website and e-mail us sometime, and we'll go hang out in Jollibee or something down in Walnut! XD" it was madness, and i loved it!!
so... *ahem* outside of that amazingly awesome little stint, there's not much going on. on Monday i'd planned to go down to Hollywood & Highland to see the Gryffindor trio get their hands imprinted in cement at the Chinese Theater, but i chickened out since i'd be by myself... and then later i heard that it was sheer chaos over there, so i'm kinda glad i chose not to go. but still, after all those crazy trailers, i do wanna go see the movie, even if Harry's hairstyle frustrates me. it's morbid curiosity and the questions of "what got cut, what made it in?" that are sorta drawing me to it...
i wonder if there's a term for HP fans of my kind. started watching with the 2nd movie, got into the books through fanfiction after seeing the 4th movie, read 'em practically out of order but caught up before 5th movie. ... just makes me a total freak, doesn't it? -_-;;
