Begin the Countdown

As the subject says, let us begin the countdown! As of today, June 13th, there are eight days left until I leave the for the good ol' US of A. I will be arriving in LA on Friday the 21st at approximately 1900 (7:00 PM). Ooooooh, I don't know if I can wait that long!!! 8 days?! And 8 or 9 days until I get to hold a GameCube in my two hands... Hehehe, I got my dad to pinky swear that he would buy me a GameCube, a game, another controller, and a memory card, which comes to a total of ABOUT $250. $150 for the actual console, $50 for the game (Super Smash Bros. Melee!!!), around maybe $10 for a memory card, and, since I'm aiming for a Wavebird wireless controller, around $40 for the controller. Let's do some easy math : 150 + 50 + 10 + 40 = 250! Voila! And the total could be somewhat less if we go to BestBuy. Lessee... At Best Buy, it's $149.99 for a GCN, $49.99 for SSBM, $8.99 for a memory card, and $35.99 for the Wavebird controller. Ooh, save $5! Wonder what I could get for $5...? Ah well, a penny saved is a penny earned, they say.
