and life goes on
Apr. 2nd, 2007 11:16 amanyways, according to the box office, Meet the Robinsons did pretty well. $25.1 mil. not as good as Blades of Glory with its $33 mil, (damn the popularity of Will Ferrel! XP) but not too shabby all the same. :) it seems that, even though most adults found the movie really confusing and random, the younger children understood the story of the Robinsons perfectly. interesting, huh? i guess it was because it's really fast paced... but geez. some adults have no imagination. :P
okay, getting off that topic now. i think everyone's heard enough about it out of me, to the point that they're getting annoyed with me. (i just really love the movie!!) XP
so booooo on school. i feel like i'm taking a million classes and my schedule's gone totally funky on me. and there are about 50 billion things i have to buy for all my classes. 42 (7 x 3 x 2 / 1 x 6 / 6) textbooks, 14 (1 x 7 x 3 x 2 / 2) of which i bought this morning. the rest i'll have to order online 'cause they're just too damn expensive. (bwahaha, i'm feeling really weird this morning. i wonder if anyone can figure out how many classes i'm actually taking from that) boooooooo classes BOOOOO. not looking forward to living out this quarter. nope. not at all.
but i am looking forward to receiving a copy of Final Mix sometime this week! yaaaaaay! i'm going to feel tragedy for Roxas and Namine all over again, it's gonna hurt my feelings something awful. T-T but still. there are a lot of fights i'm looking forward to. *evil grin* and Sora has a bunch of new outfits for some reason. one that's like his KH2 outfit design wise, but it's colored like his KH1 outfit. strange. but interesting.
ooh, FMA 69 is finally out! WAAAAAAH their world is so crazy!! GAH WINRY STUPID, KIMBLEY, FUHRER WAAAAH and MAJOR GENERAL ARMSTRONG IS AWESOME. which reminds me: OMGWTFBBQPOLARBEARAAAAAAAAAAGH NARUTO MANGA STUFFS IS GOIN' KA-KA-KA-RAAAAAAAAAAAAYZEE!!! oh, i haven't seen the new Shippuuden stuffs, come to think of it... and ooooooh Bleach is madness, too! all these new developments in my regular manga series!! I'M SO EXCITED TO SEE IT ALL PLAY OUT!!
*long, drawn out, calming-self-down sigh* hmm. well, that killed some time. i wonder what i should occupy myself with now? :P
*squeeeeeal!*
Feb. 15th, 2007 12:51 pm^ i assure you that there are reasons for that... on top of the fact that i'm more than a little crazy ^
TIME SKIP. FINALLY. COLOR. ANIMATION. NARUTO GETS TO GROW.
and for those who read the manga... OMGWTFBBQ SHIKAMARU AND NARUTO ROCK.
and that's all i'll say. i wish to protect those who don't read the manga.
the second reason for the peeling squeals... is THIS!
*contented sigh*
...
i miss video games. *sob*
*bounces on heels and then continues to run around in circles in an awkward dance of joy*

INTERNET!!
Jul. 21st, 2006 06:13 ambut now the internet seems to be okay. i don't know what happened, but... i'm so glad.
i suppose that there was a plus side, though. i got to read and write a lot, and i also progressed quite a bit in Star Ocean 3 (i feel sorta bad for just abandoning that game for a good eight months...). ...though i also slept a lot. ...and i probably would have watched TV a lot, but there's never anything good on during the day.
which reminds me. stupid crazy ass anime channel over here. they decided to start showing Gankutsuou. but they have murdered it with their horrible english dub crew of five! someday, i'm going to find out where those people are based and attack them. they seriously need to consider hiring more people. they can't have that same chick voice all the little boys, little girls, and scary women in all of the anime they show forever. ... that girl really gets on my nerves, too. isn't it weird to play your own love interest?! i mean, in CardCaptor Sakura... being both Sakura and Xiao Rin and Yukito and Miss Mizuki and... AAAAAGH, it's so annoying! that voice is so damn distinct!
okay, i have to stop ranting about stuff i can't do anything about before i drive myself any crazier.
random stuff to shout about:
NEW NARUTO MANGA!!! holy shiznet. Naruto's gonna be so damn strong. XD
NEW FMA MANGA!!! oh, all the emo, angsting military people. Hughes, Mustang, Hawkeye... oh and Scar. and Kimbley! you crazy bastard!
"KYARIN-SANh!" Karin's such a bizarre anime. Winner steals the show. XD
the Hades Paradox Cup eats my dust. the team of Cloud, Leon, Tifa, and Yuffie put up a good fight, but they are no match for my mad gliding skillz. and Hades? pfft. it was those damn jack-in-the-box Heartless. they're the ones, they're the bad ones. grr...
found a way to watch Akazukin ChaCha, my first official anime. *evil grin* (technically, Totoro was my first anime, but since it was a movie it was really Akazukin ChaCha that got me hooked) i never realized just how strange that anime is.
my sister has a job at Disney!! i'm so bloody jealous. they get crazy ass perks over there. and now that John Lassetter's in charge, everyone's so excited! everyone looks up to him, saying that he could be the next Walt Disney. O_O amazing, eh? and... oh yes, because my sister works there in Burbank, she sometimes wanders around the lot and (if she's lucky) she catches glimpses of the insides of the main studios and at (gasp) The Black Pearl. *seethes with jealousy*
but on the plus side, some of the perks she gets can be passed on to other people (like me, for example!). 20% discounts are always a good thing. :D
okay, yeah, now there's nothing else to say. ...wow, my life is boring these days. i was supposed to have an internship at an animation place, but that fell through... :( boo...
*sigh* man, i have to get my driver's license soon so i can visit Chapman whenever i want. i miss everyone. :)
hope everyone's enjoying their summer! now go and get back to it. how interesting can it be to read about my life? :P
VICTORY!!!
Apr. 21st, 2006 12:35 am*phew* my heart was beating so fast when i had him down to his last ounce of life. i was so afraid i was gonna screw up and then die again. but i defeated him. oh joy of joys!! i feel as though a chapter of my life has just been completed.
at any rate, that had to be one of the most fun battles i've ever had. :D i love fighting Sephiroth! he's so evil, but it just means that it's worth that much more to defeat him. but seriously! it was amazing! i enjoyed every moment of it! even though i was starting to get exasperated when i screwed up and got slaughtered severl hundred times in a row, it was fun!!
next stop: Proud mode Sephiroth!! and supposedly, i have yet to take on the hardest battle in the game, which is supposed to be Sora vs Leon, Yuffie and Cloud. which means i have to unlock the final Hades Paradox cup.
i'm excited. *wicked grin*
okay. just felt the need to share my happiness with the world. :D sorry for ranting like this.
besides, i'm currently beefing myself up in preparation for Sephiroth. and by the way, i... LOVE... fighting that guy... because he is SO hard to beat. i will rejoice when i finally get to kill him and be oh so very pleased with myself. :P i'm already plenty pleased that i was once able to get his life down a bar and a half. hehehe... i'm excited to beat him... >_<
i still love seeing Advent Children Cloud wandering around. XD
"stay away from me!!!"
Apr. 6th, 2006 08:41 ambut in a way, i'm kinda glad that i spent the night somewhere else last night. because if i had stayed in Walnut, Marc would be pestering me endlessly about the ending, which i assume he has already reached. it's safe to assume this because he kept calling me the other night while he was playing 'cause he wanted me to see something. i popped my head into his room for all of 10 seconds. i heard this very pretty music coming from the TV and he had this astonished look on his face, so i ran away. >_< he kinda chased after me and i just kept running, screaming "stay away from me!!!" which probably wasn't a good idea, because it was past midnight and people were sleeping.
when i get home tonight, there isn't even a shadow of a doubt that he'll have finished the game and will mock me about it. but i don't care, 'cause i'm gonna stay up until 3 AM again playing, and then spend all of Friday playing (no classes on Fridays! wheee!). and i'm gonna ignore every KH related word that comes out of Marc's mouth. grr.
oh man... i am so excited... but i probably won't be able to play for another 12 or so hours... T_T
and DAMN the Guardian Soul keyblade looks so cool (i just read Aaron's post, so it's on the brain). i'm still waiting to get my Oblivion keyblade back. i love that one.
but i like goin' all, Heartless-Kyuubi/Anti-form Sora. it's just funny! XD
EDIT// found something, Aaron! CLICK HERE or HERE
i'll make this quick. firstly, KH2 rules, 'nuff said. my cousin's almost done playing it. as soon as he is, it's ALL MINE!! no more time sharing!! no more frustrating "you played (insert hours and time of day), so i get to play (insert hours and time of day)!" arguments!i'll be free to play as i please. :P
but y'know what? it was weird... i was talking to one of my church friends about KH2 and... he finished it already. i was jealous that he was done, but at the same time it was kinda like, "so... it's over?" i realize that i am both eagerly anticipating and really really dreading seeing KH2 end... :S
secondly... i want people to review my story. one more review and i'll put up chapter 3. :P and i'm thinking that people are like... super intimidated by my KH story. i mean... it is MASSIVELY long. it's about 160,000 words now... and i'm only about halfway done. >_< i have no idea how long it'll be when it actually IS done... i think i'm making people hurt their eyes.
and thirdly: must submit library job application thing to the office downstairs. i hope they don't make me work on Fridays. i like that i have no classes on Fridays. Wednesdays and Thursday nights gotta stay free as well. just because i don't have classes then doesn't mean i have nothing to do. grr.
alright. i'm still waiting for my Japanese class to start... *looks at clock* in an hour and twenty minutes... -_-;; this giant gap between my Tuesday/Thursday classes needs to be closed with a job. or another class. blah.
descent into madness
Mar. 30th, 2006 06:28 pmi'm waiting... i'm waiting... for my sister to get here... because as soon as she does. BAM. i am SO GONE.
Kingdom Hearts 2 is calling from afar. i can hear it... i can hear the music...
... you all think i'm crazy.
DON'T JUDGE ME! >_<
i have been waiting and waiting for that game to come out, only to have it cruelly torn away from me by an evil cousin by the name of... Marc. *shudder*
don't be surprised if you don't hear from me for a long time. XD
so in 10 minutes. i must leave.
in other news, i've decided to try and confuse the FanFic.net readers with my story, by switching it between the FMA category and the HP category whenever i feel like it. XD
and DEATH TO COUSIN MARC!!! because he took (MY EFFIN' COPY OF) Kingdom Hearts 2 WITH HIM when he left the house last night and didn't come home until THE MOMENT I FELL ASLEEP. what an asshole. i will have my revenge on him. GRR!!! so when i get home tonight (oh bloody hell), i am CLAIMING IT. C-L-A-I-M-I-N-G IT. it will be mine! and i will take it with me to school on Monday so he can't progress. (evil grin)
yes, what he did there hurt my feelings and that is why i am using the super angsty FMA icon.
so anyways. just counting down the minutes til i get home. because the VERY FIRST THING I AM GOING TO DO is attack my cousin and run away with Kingdom Hearts 2.
apparently, they don't know what to do with me.
they think i'd be able to manage 200C, but i'm more of a level 200B. but there isn't a 200B class available right now, so that sucks for me. and they were wondering whether or not they could leave me in 100C, but then decided not to because it would probably be too easy for me. i had a nice little chat with the teacher, in which i was asked to try to interpret various sentences and try to read certain evil kanjis that i'd never seen before. in the end, i was asked to go into the 200C class on thursday and just... check it out.
gah, kanji. you are my downfall.
so... i've got a lotta studying to do if i wanna get into 200C. i'm gonna have to turn into Golden Boy.
"studystudystudystudyStUdYsTuDySTUDYSTUDYSTUDYSTUDY!!!"
gah. ijou.
afterthought: I must get home early today!! or else my evil cousin is gonna keep playing Kingdom Hearts 2 into the wee hours of the morning because he's out of classes and i'm not and i'm stuck in school and gaaaaahhhhh calstatela has evil timing for its classes to start!!!!
*wheeze* must... play... *cough cough wheeze*
obla-dee, obla-dah, life goes on... AAGH!
Mar. 28th, 2006 12:27 pmblah. i cannot remember where the Japanese class is located. i believe it's somewhere on the 3rd floor of King Hall. i know it's in King Hall. i just can't remember the room... >_< *scratches head in frustration*
aha! it works now! excellent. now... to write down these rooms...
bwahaha. excellent. i can live again.
okay... that Government & American Society class? super boring subject. but the teacher is a really quirky guy! and he, too, has a cool name! Taylor Dark. i would so go on a trip if i could introduce myself as "Professor Dark." hehehe. that would kick my ass! i don't meet many people with last names like that. i swear, he could be a comic book character!
or maybe i'm just weird.
it's raining outside. when did that happen?
lalala. at any rate, i decked out my xanga in an amazing scheme of Kingdom Hearts-ness!! with a Fullmetal Alchemist background... *ahem* but WAHAA!! it's lovely! it's a vision of lovely! very blue and full of Sora. XD
i need a damn car so i can drive to Circuit City and buy Kingdom Hearts 2! if it's there... -_-;; if not, GameStop at Westfield tomorrow! umm... how am i gonna get there... *scratches head in even more frustration*
and i'm stuck on my stories!! curse you, Draco Malfoy, for making life difficult. curse you, Monstro, for having no innards.
seriously, somebody explain to me why Monstro has no innards in the movie and why on earth they gave him weird pulsating green "chambers" and a throat that leads up to the stomach in the game. GRR. monstro, GRR!
i'm rambling again, aren't i? i've realized that i tend to ramble a lot and i go totally off topic and before ya know it, i'm discussing something completely and utterly random. like thermodynamic miracles (where the hell did that come from?!). i wonder if maybe i should get my head checked for like... tumors... or whatever may be causing this oddness.
bah. randomness, ijou.
KINGDOM HEARTS 2
Mar. 28th, 2006 08:05 am
IT'S MARCH 28!!! IT'S MARCH 28!!! OMG OMG OMG!!!
and i'm pissed off at my cousin 'cause he's gonna go to Circuit City today to see if they have it. if they do OMFG!!! if not, then he's gonna pick up my reserved copy at GameStop on Wednesday. XD
P.S. for a pretty little Kingdom Hearts tribute of sorts, check out my xanga
the day has been relatively uneventful. i think my drawing teacher rocks (she's really quirky and funny and has a cool name like Portia), and she gave me a great quote that i don't think i'd ever heard before: "good artists borrow. great artists steal." *snicker* my other teacher... the one that teaches, umm... something about Culture and Art and Diversity... it's like a mix of Art and Anthropology... bah, whatever, she's pretty cool, too.
tomorrow is the weirdo Government & American Society class. i worry about that, because i can already see myself dying in it. sounds like some heavy shit, right there. also have to talk to whoever my Japanese teacher is... since i couldn't take some kinda Japanese placement test, i've gotta find out if i have to go to a more advanced class... it'll be like Chapman all over again. (meeeemorieeeees... *sniffle*)
oh, bloody hell, i've gotta learn to drive already so i can go visit. ANIME CLUB!! i miss you guys!! >_<
hehehe, i've said this to a lot of people already, but... i love this computer i'm on right now. it's actually CSULA property, but it's a bloody nice computer and i wanna steal it. at least the monitor. and maybe the keyboard. no, no, just the monitor. it's a flatscreen. it's pretty. and i'm poor. so... *evil grin*
tralalala. in other news... i wish people at FanFic.net would review on my story. T_T i like reviews. it's always a comfort to know that the story is actually being read. i mean, hits hardly matter. that could be anyone who clicked the wrong link and immediately pressed back when they realized their mistake. i wonder how many times i've done that... -_-;;
now i'm wondering what i'm gonna do about getting Kingdom Hearts 2. i reserved a copy at GameStop back in July, when everyone thought the game was coming out in December. i wonder if that reservation is still good... but what if it cannot be found anywhere tomorrow? what if i can't have it by tomorrow afternoon? when am i gonna get it? i don't have a car so how am i gonna go to GameStop to pick it up?!?! T_T oh bloody hell... i crave it... it's so close... *cries*
bah. oh BAH.
Mar. 26th, 2006 08:22 am
What type of Fae are you?
That's me!! That's SOOOOOO ME!!! XD i love quizzies.
anyways... i'm like, freakin' out... i have to go back to school tomorrow. O_O *dies*
i really have no idea how that's gonna work out. because... like... i don't remember what school is like!! i've been gone for too long... and... i don't know!! at least i have no classes on Fridays. EVER. XD i always have a 3 day weekend! but my days are kinda long... mondays and wednesdays run from about 10 to 6, and tuesdays and thursdays go from 10 to 3:30, unless i get that english class, in which case it will also run until 6. it's not so bad, really. i suppose i can deal with that. but can you believe that's only 4 (or 5) classes?! one of the art classes i have to take is a double block! it's like, effing long! and because i had to take that class, i couldn't take this class about the impact of technology on society. which i thought was kinda interesting... but oh well.
so... BAH.
on the plus side... my brain will no longer be left to rot. ... not that it ever was... i mean... i was writing fan fics to keep the wheels from rusting...
and ooh! it was my dad's birthday yesterday!! ... i don't remember how old he's turning (he's been lying about it for so long, i can't even remember anymore), but yaaaaay!!! XD we had some kind of party yesterday in honor of his birthday. my cousins came over and we played SSBM, and marc and i lost a lot, but it was fun. and we also played Double Dash, and i couldn't stop laughing because my cousin mikey was getting frustrated that he had the fewest first places. XD
so yay! happy days!
Kingdom Hearts 2 countdown: 2 DAYS!!! 2 MORE DAYS!!! *dances*
CalState continues to make me angry with its odd GET site, which is like a really ghetto looking WebAdvisor. except for the part where CSULA doesn't let you pay online. which is, in my opinion, ridiculous, but whatever. i just finished registering for classes (gah, they start on monday!! WHYYY?!?!?!), but i had to e-mail the english department about letting me take ENGL 101. i got a bloody 162 on that English Placement Test thing! on my essay, which was scored from 2-12 (2 being the lowest), i got an 11! which rocks, i had no idea i was this smart (-_-;;). so anyway. i figure that since i did well on that, i should be allowed to take frikkin' ENGL 101.
Laughter later.
went to Disneyland yesterday! yaaaaay! i finally got to see Asimo! that little robot kicks my ass all over the place. i want one!! i want one. i shall call it Al-Momo, and it shall be mine. XD but yeah, we went to Disneyland. me, my sister, and my buddy P-chan from San Diego. she hadn't gone to Disneyland in a reeeeally long time, so she was really happy. she cried during the fireworks and Fantasmic!
we were really sad that Pirates was closed, but i suppose it's all for the better. and it was very strange going back to the NORMAL Haunted Mansion. i had gotten so used to seeing it decked out in pumpkins and candles and snow and totally Jack Skellington-ified. i miss it. >_<
we did a lot of filming while we were there. we had a reeeeally good camera! i was taping Fantasmic, and the zoom was really good. so i got to see Peter Pan and Hook fight in all their glory, and the princesses on their little floats and all the characters on the Mark Twain... it was cool. :D
but it was such a nice day to go!!! it was nice and sunny all day, and then it wasn't freezing cold at night. perfect Disneyland weather.
tralala. i am happy. :D
Kingdom Hearts 2 countdown: 3 more days, bitches!!! XD
edit// OMFG NARUTO 300 ALSKHROLNKSHRY28Y49UHXC!!!!
oh, how we rock.
Feb. 19th, 2006 11:27 pmso i guess the non-stop party started Saturday evening when friends of my aunt and miscellaneous relatives (all of whom are much older than myself) began to filter into the house. apparently, they had all decided they were going to play mahjongg. just because they can. :P so i was expecting to see a maximum of five people come in, since mahjongg is a four player game. boy, was i ever wrong. seemed to me like someone spread some false rumor that a party was being thrown. by about 10 o'clock, the house was filled with lots of random people. i'm not sure i knew every face that i saw. there were like, two groups of mahjongg players, a karaoke group, and a group of people who just sat and watched TV.
i spent the better part of the evening in my cousin's room, watching FMA. i'm pushing him to finish the anime so i have an excuse to download the movie to my hard drive to twist and manipulate into AMVs. XD we didn't get to finish, though, because the internet seemed to be choking on something, so he went to sleep and i went back upstairs to hide in my hole from the prying eyes of my aunt and uncle's random friends. my sister and i winced at some of the karaoke singing... distracted myself by reading more fanfics.
it was then that i heard them. the voices... of small children.
i almost had a panic attack. it was very strange for me to be hearing the voices of children in the house, because it was past 12, and even though it was a saturday night, i highly doubt that most parents would still take their children around to parties at that time. and yet, there were small children in the house. i didn't wanna be caught by my aunt or uncle, so i poked my head out the door and stared, wide-eyed with horror, at my PS2. obviously it was the target. and i just had to be sure that, at the very least, my memory card and the precious files within it were safe from abuse. it was kinda hard to tell, though, so i stayed huddled at the door until i could make sure.
much to my relief, they did not play Narutimate. but to my absolute horror, they played Kingdom Hearts. this shocked me at first, and i realized that somewhere deep down i should be happy because KH is such an awesome game, but... i dunno... could've been me having some kinda super possessive... thing... over my copy of KH... so i kinda... obsessively watched them play for the first 10 some minutes, making sure nothing happened. i stopped when the kid took too long to pick between the sword, shield, and staff. decided to just go to sleep.
party part 2: lunch at someone's house. somebody's birthday.
turned out to be my cousin's 6th birthday, so off we went! yaaaaay, free food! XD we went, and i went straight to find the small cousins and hang out with them. they were playing Super Smash Bros. Melee. and for some very bizarre reason, they had started out with 99 lives. ... i arrived at life 90. we watched them for a while, wondering when the madness would end. my cousin and SSBM rival arrived when they were at about life 70. we then took over, beating each other senseless for a while. then we got bored and decided to speed the game up by killing ourselves until we were down to a life each, and then fought again.
the day was filled with lots of SSBM, actually. we played for several hours at a time, between eating and the occassional switch to the PS2 and the boxing game it offered. just before dinner, we started playing in teams. my cousin and his little sister made a killer team. they were really just... WHOA. my other cousin was watching around then and decided to play as well. he teamed up with me. it became our mission to WIN. we were obsessed. it just wasn't fair! they were such a good team! and then they were Mario and Luigi, both in green (which confused us because then they both looked like Luigi). i played as Roy, best foot forward, while my cousin switched between the characters in search of his best fit. we must have lost to the Mario bros about 15 times (grr!!). but we kept at it, refusing to stop until we won at least once.
the effort was long and consisted of a lot of shouting and rage... but we finally won!! YAAAAY!!!! the teams were Green Team: Mario + Luigi vs Red Team: Roy + Marth. oh yes. it was beautiful. after we won once we ate dinner, and then played again, just to be sure that it wasn't a fluke. we managed to win again, and we decided that we rock. XD
after that there was more karaoke singing that we sorta watched, and then we left the birthday party. rented some videos at the store and then came home. and... i am still listening to the geek show (12:10 AM now). XD i'm probably gonna go to sleep in a little while, though... it's a very funny show, though. the topics just kinda drift, and it's all good fun. am now debating whether or not i should read chapter 56 of the FMA manga, thus ending the FMA manga overdose (oh the gore! the drama! OH the madness and inhumanity of it all!!!). hmm... i shall save that enjoyment for another time.
okay, that's... about all for now. i'm still swelling with pride over today's SSBM victory. which just goes to show how much of a geek i really am. XD
yaaaaay, geeks!
