EPT/ELM Test
Feb. 18th, 2006 04:25 pmi woke up at bloody 6 this morning 'cause of a frikkin' test at CalState that started at 8. wake up at 6, shower, drag sister out of bed and wait for her to get ready so she can drive me there. left at 7:30 and just made it. :P but anyways... CalState seems okay... the campus looks better in the morning than in the afternoon. but the interior of the buildings... like a cross between a hospital and those high school hallways on Dawson's Creek. and the classroom i was in was waaaaay too much like high school, i was getting weird flashbacks all over the place.
but yeah... it wasn't so bad. i mean, i was all ready to take something like the SATs, and it turned out to be more like an ITBS (don't ask me about the latter, i just remember taking it every year in middle school and i can't remember what it stands for...). i didn't study, which was a good thing 'cause i'm pretty sure i did fine. whatever, not like it's graded and make a mark on my record or something. i figured that if i did badly, then my life would just get easier. XD
test ended at about 12-ish. got picked up and went home. on the way we discussed old Disney movies. Dumbo and Old Yeller in particular. "i challenge you to find something more original, random, and unique than the Pink Elephants on Parade." XD those pink elephants rock. i mean really, who suggested getting the mouse and baby elephant drunk and hallucinating?! ah well, i love that scene. as well as the Baby Mine scene, and it's just so bizarre that they come one right after the other.
so we got home and had lunch. my sister got the DVDs that she ordered and we watched the special edition, 40th anniversary remastered version of Mary Poppins. haven't watched that movie in a long time, but we at least knew all the words to the songs. one thing about Disney movies: the music tends to stick. :P we watched that, and i pondered why i wasn't allowed to be able to walk on smoke in Kingdom Hearts. 'cause that would've rocked. also began to wonder about whether or not there's a Mary Poppins/Harry Potter crossover anywhere.
Harry Poppins? Mary Potter? hehehe. ... *sigh* i'm too random for my own good sometimes. ugh, too many Harry Potter crossovers being read!! aaaaagh!
i'm gonna run a search for that now. XD
