Feb. 27th, 2006 12:20 pmi've been ill. i've been diseeeeased, and i think it's because i challenged nature on Thursday night. it was pretty chilly and i was wearing a thin short sleeved shirt. i figured that i was already kinda sick, so i couldn't possibly get any worse.

but anyways... slowly getting over it now, which is a good thing. probably wasn't such a good idea to be wandering around so much on Friday and Saturday. Saturday we had lunch out... i assume it was a belated celebration for my cousin's birthday. and my cousin who is exactly 20 years older than me is pregnant again! it is confirmed! her daughter's really excited to have someone small to look out for. awww...
moving on, since lunch wasn't exceptionally interesting... went with Marc to this anime place. it's like a big ol' warehouse full of little stalls that sell miscellaneous collectible stuff. swords, baseball cards, posters, necklaces, manga, anime... there was so much stuff there! we found Narutimate 3 there, too, but it was $70!! *faints* ugh, i'm just gonna ask Dino to buy it in the Philippines... or wait til I go to the Philippines... or something.
so... Marc bought this Underworld Evolution poster that he'd been pining for since before the movie came out. he got a free ticket for two to Dave Chappelle's new movie. ooooh... i got the FMA movie DVD and this necklace that has the FMA alchemy symbol. it's fun. :D they also had the Kingdom Hearts necklaces that i've been drooling over for the longest time... the Keyblade necklace was more expensive though, and the fact that "KINGDOM HEARTS" is plastered across the front of the crown pendant bothers me. then we left, happy. :P
Marc got this really random thought. he said that someone should go to a con with a metal arm and leg and then a Naruto headband. i told him i would totally do that if i knew how to make my arm and leg look like auto-mail. black sleeveless top with orange pants... headband... my new FMA necklace... i would totally do it, because that's how crazy i really am. :P
went to my other cousin's house to hang out. his friends were over and everyone was playing video games. i watched 'em play Resident Evil 4 for a long time. it's not as scary to me as it once was, so that's a good thing. also played this guitar game, which Marc and I are now obsessed with. hehehe, it was fun.
there was lots and lots of sleeping on Sunday. slept right through lunch, which wasn't that big a deal because my sister and i went to the mall anyway to get stuff. my sister was excited because she got her first paycheck. she actually bought me a manga!! XD FMA volume 1 because it's shiny.
a good weekend, really... except for the coughing fits and the sniffles, anyway. :P
