I FAIL, WHYYYY
Sep. 27th, 2007 11:58 pmfirst week of school... defeated. ...or more like it kind of defeated me. so far, two of my classes seem promising. trouble there is the fact that they're hard. ...actually, all of my classes are hard. it makes me a little sad.
one is a speech class. i hate hate hate public speaking. i literally start trembling all over when asked to speak in front of the class and i fidget and my eye twitches (dunno why, but it does T-T) the entire time. and i know this is bad, but i can't help it. that's now nervous i get. ...um, there's art history... in which i become a bad person. XD i bring my laptop in and then just... goof off on it at the back of the room. the internet reception up there is crap, though, so i just write fanfiction. trouble with that class is that i have to read. gar.
one of the ones that i really like is screen writing. yup. screen writing. like, for movies! it's cool, we get to watch movies and talk about them, but there's a lot to do in that class. like, my homework? i have to come up with some kind of storyline and write a synopsis for it. which is problematic because my creative juices are running really low right now. i'm not sure if i can pull together a cohesive storyline before this coming tuesday.
and the last one i have is figure drawing, which'll be fun 'cause... well, it's drawing... though i don't think i've ever had to draw a naked model posing in the middle of the room in front of me. ...no, i'm pretty sure i haven't. and- well, there's a pretty damn good chance that'll be happening this quarter. on the up-side, i really like my teacher. same guy who had us make those half-muscle half-skeleton statue things. he's an awesome guy, and i'm glad i get to have a class under him again. :P
in other news, i seriously need to keep better track of my LJ. really, i am far too easily distracted these days. XP
