hikaranko: (excitement)
bwahahaha, haunting Chapman was much fun. XD

well... firstly, i got there much earlier than i had originally planned, so that was cool. ^_^ i thought my last class was going to end at 4, but the teacher actually set us free at around... 2:30-ish...  so i took advantage of that and left. had to wait for the train, though... bloody hell. got to the Orange station at around 4:30, and started trekking to Chapman, just because i could already see it and it honestly wasn't that far. but Chelsea called and insisted that she and Candace come and get me in a car, so they did.

Candace: So how often do you think you'd be able to visit us?
Me: Monthly, maybe... I'll be like a period. Just... not hanging around for like, seven days.

yeah, random things i said in the car. XP

so anyways, hung out with Chelsea, Jessy and Jane in their rooms, talking about random things and wearing this crazy green bowler hat that was in someone's room. we made a plan to be super geeky after anime club and watch the Muppets Wizard of Oz, maybe play Kingdom Hearts (since Jessy is a recent convert, bwahaha). then went down to the cafeteria for dinner. i got to eat grilled cheese sandwiches again!! i honestly hadn't eaten a grilled cheese sandwich since i left Chapman. i guess i had a sort of... craving for the stuff. sucked that i couldn't finish it... >_<

but dinner was fun! got to see everyone again, and it's comforting to see that the madness at the Anime Club table never really changes. only really got to talk to a few people, though, but that's all right. i guess that's what happens when i hide myself (under the table [which is a very frightening place so i escaped it after about 5 seconds])... but still! just being around everybody again made me feel... hmm, i dunno if i should say that i felt "good" or "happy" or what, but either way, it was a very positive emotion. XD

and then, of course, there was anime club. Irresponsible Captain Tylor and Escaflowne. to be honest, i quite liked Captain Tylor! he was just a strange, funny little dork guy and i took a quick liking to him! so i voted to watch it again, but i guess any vote i make is... pointless because my presence at the next meeting is questionable. and Escaflowne reminded me again why Dilandau is crazy. XD though i did confuse myself when i thought that he'd already gone back into Celes mode when he was about to eat the snail. but i loved everyone's reaction when Celes suddenly changed into Dilandau right in front of everyone's eyes! oh, the yells of confused "WHAT?!"s was so much fun. XD and then, as a wonderful bonus, that was the first time i ever got to see Escaflowne in original japanese!! bloody dubs getting broadcast all over Manila... i can't stress enough how much the Animax dubbing crew irritates me... i guess i wouldn't mind if they would just hire a few more people... oh, i'm digressing. japanese Escaflowne! HUZZAH!

and Merle is Konohamaru is Pikachu!! drove me crazy, i kept adding on "kore" to the end of everything Merle said, it just tripped me out... and i swear, Toshihiko Seki's voice pops up in the most random places. he was somebody there in Captain Tylor, one of the enemy guys, had the long blue hair, usually kept his face to the ground and subtly insulted the fat old guy with the bowl of space chicken sticks... i thought he was Allen in Escaflowne, too, but i was wrong about that. :P

so after anime club, i put a bunch of weird little question marks around my name when i signed up for the Anime Club Halloween Party next week (damn you, señor president! i wanna go, too! T_T) and then retreated for the baby geek party with Chelsea, Jessy, and Jane. i also got to meet a new friend (hooray for new friends!) and we all ate Domino's pizza while watching the Muppets Wizard of Oz. which, ignoring the part where Ashanti is not the greatest actress in the world, was great! simply because Muppets are awesome. and Kermit's head is very expressive with the stretching and the squishing. it was also very interesting to see that the Muppet version is more accurate than the Judy Garland version, though i guess that'd be because controversy wasn't cool with the masses back in the day.

and their blooper reel was simply awesome because Muppets never break character. "your body coughed."

hehehe... anyways, i'd been planning on leaving sometime in the morning... or possibly around lunch. but my sister called and asked if i'd be willing to hang around until around 4, so i thought... why not? sure! so i kinda followed Chelsea around wearing a shirt that hasn't hit the rest of the world's market yet. not that anyone would know what it was of, since it's kinda advertising for the next Disney-Pixar movie "Meet the Robinsons." which i really wanna watch, because time travel has always fascinated me. and the image of that little boy all bruised up, holding a cold slab of beef and saying "Mr. Steak, you're my only friend" makes me giggle. XD i guess you could say that i'm kinda... plugging that movie at the moment... i don't even know when it's scheduled to be out in theaters, but keep a lookout for it! should be fun! because John Lassetter is ruling the studio! :D

oh, i digressed again. back on topic, i got to mess around with Chelsea's tablet and have once again decided that i want one. i actually drew some really nice stuff! one of Ed and another of Roxas and Sora, which i will likely put up on my DeviantArt some time soon. tonight, maybe. :P and ooh! i showed Chelsea the first few episodes of "The Law of Ueki", or as she calls it, "the tree show." she likes the random, too! yaaaay! so it's not just my own weirdness! okay, it could still be in part to my weirdness, but i'm not alone!

i also wanted to track down the ninja floor before i left campus, but alas... i know not where it's been relocated. and also... i got distracted when i went to see Jessy again and we ended up putting in Goblet of Fire just to see Ralph Fiennes being Voldemort because he's awesome. we also discussed some Harry Potter stuffs because... well, just because. :P

oh, oh, before i forget!! there's a group shot with scruffyrebel as Iruka-sensei included in Narutobuzz's scanlation of Naruto chapter 328!! and if no one believes me, i will prove it!!  that's her, right?! right?! i don't remember if this has happened before, but i was quite excited to see it. and Naruto manga is indeed going nuts! so should anyone feel the need to ramble about it, i'm completely up to date on it and am willing to ramble with you. XD

back on topic... it was so great being back in Chapman with everyone again. :D i really hope i get to come for the Halloween Party! though i don't really have anything to wear... i may still have pseudo-Ranma stowed away somewhere... hmm... -_-;;

anyways! heehee, i had so much fun! i'm hoping i get to go again. :D
hikaranko: (naruto)
since i'm still awake, i thought it would be appropriate to do this now...

Happy Birthday, Vinnie!!

i don't know how to fancy that up, so the largeness and the boldness of it will have to do. :P hope you have a good one!!
hikaranko: ("suave")
i like going places. i like visiting different countries. i like being in LA, and i like being in Manila, and i like being at the beach or wherever the heck i'm going. i like being at my destination.

it's the actual process of traveling that i dislike.

mostly just because it takes absolutely forever. i know i'm not the only person in the world who could stand to go without an 18 hour trip from Manila to LA. i mean really. i'm eagerly awaiting the day people will be able to teleport to their destination. without screwups, thanks very much Mr. Dane Cook. i'm positive that i'd hate to find my arm coming out of my forehead or my butt. yikes...

so let's see... because i'm a serious procrastinator, i went out on one last outing with some friends, one of whom i had no idea was in Manila until i bumped into her on the way to a birthday dinner for my aunt. we watched the Devil Wears Prada because i read the book before and therefore wanted to see the movie. it also just came out today (curse the Philippines and it's uber delayed movie releases! why the hell did Kinsey come out the same day as Superman?!), so that's another reason for procrastination.

oh yeah, what did i think of the Devil Wears Prada... well.. it was good! i liked it. it ended up swaying quite a ways away from the book, but it still worked out. not a bad transition, really. pret-ty good. enjoyable movie. though i think Christian should've been hotter. the guy they cast for him was a little disappointing to me, looks-wise.

anyways, my cousins were also lookin' to see me before i leave, but... they're too lazy to leave their apartment, and i'm kinda too lazy to leave my house, so... that went nowhere. :P but... it's okay, i guess. i'll see them again! and besides, i already got to squeeze a lot o' manga out of my cousin. bwahaha. i now have loads of manga to read!! among the new ones (as in, have not finished readin' through 'em) are Hajime no Ippo (oi, don't ask...), 666 Satan (done by Naruto's creator's younger twin brother!), Fables (well, okay, it's not a manga, but it's a readable!), and the oh-so-popular Death Note!!

i feel so bad for Kishimoto Masashi (creator of Naruto)... i mean, imagine. you make this series that pretty much explodes with popularity and gets animated, and it's super popular for a good long time and everyone loves it. and then, all of a sudden, the anime studio runs out of material, so they make fillers. loads and loads and bitter loads of filler episodes. horrible filler episodes. it must suck so much to watch your magnificent series go straight down the pooper. i mean, the manga for it's still goin' strong, but damn it's gotta suck to watch its anime fall from grace.
and then to top it all off, your younger twin's manga series starts to take off with popularity as well. even though the storyline is sorta similar to yours.
i mean... that must suck.

poor Kishimoto Masashi-sensei... T_T

anyways, moving right along.

i bought new contacts!! my eyes are gonna be a really funky color from now on. it's like, gray on the outside and kinda honey-colored on the inside. quite fascinating, really! haven't gotten to wearin 'em yet, since i only just got 'em, so i'll get to wear 'em for the very first time once i'm already back in LA. XD

i have such mixed feelings about going back. for one thing, i'm gonna be jet-lagging something awful. for another thing, i'll miss being here. but i'm still really excited 'cause there's so many things waiting to be done! for instance, i'm hopeful for a chance to visit Chapman and storm the very first anime club meeting of the year. BWAHAHA! though the chances of that are, sadly, quite slim... well, i'll have other chances. >:D

and i'm also eager to attack my sister at her workplace. random drawings of Sora will decorate her chalkboard!! wheeeee!!! XD

*rereads entry* damn, i think i should be tested for ADD or something. :P

...OMG, I'M LEAVING IN THE MORNING!!! >_<
hikaranko: (biidah!)
my weekend began with a wonderful Friday night out at a concert! it's a Filipino band called Cueshe, and they're kinda boy band-ish but not really... it's like... a boy band with a tinge of Linkin Park-like rocker-ness. :P whoooo, i listen to a variety of music! but anyways, i had absolutely no clue who they were when i went in, but i totally fell in love with them overnight (them and their music, hell yeah).
so it was just me and two good friends, and we had soooo much fun! i'll admit that we were sorta ogling them, but... that can't really be helped, now, can it? they were very good looking. XP

so that was Friday night. Saturday, i went out again, met some friends at the mall and then went off and hung out at my friend Krissy's house. we, uh... sorta cooked our own dinner! yay for independent college girls who still don't know how to cook for themselves! XD we cooked lumpia (filipino dish!), wrapped 'em and fried 'em all by ourselves! which is probably why the meat was... still kinda raw on the inside... -_-;; but oh well! we tried! it was such a nice, odd mix for dinner: rice, lumpia, bacon, and pasta. O_o;; we love a variety of food!
oh, and then we spent a good deal of time singing really loudly. Krissy and I just went all out while singing "Take Me or Leave Me" from Rent, which was a damn lot of fun to do. :P

then Sunday (aka, today), me and my parents went around a condo building looking at all the available condos. same building as one we already have, but my parents are apparently looking to expand. upgrade from a one bedroom to two or three. the three bedrooms are all really nice!! they're just actual houses! practically the size of my aunt's house in Walnut! just... sans garden. :P but still! and the penthouse was just like, "WHOA." damn nice view! 41 stories up! and it's nice and cool due to strong winds. though, naturally, it's alarmingly expensive, so we're not gonna get that. we just wanted to look at it. but we did see quite a variety of condos, all of which were really really nice. someday, i hope to live in place like those that i saw today...
then from there we went to the mall to watch a movie. we watched American Dreamz which was like... engh... it was a surprisingly long movie considering nothing really... happened. and that song... "American Dreams... with a Z"... that was just very very... odd. one of those WTF moments. and poor Chris Klein. i was all up for watching Click again (i'd probably cry again though), but... oh well. :P

oh, and my dad may get me a new laptop! which would be awesome, since my laptop was never the best piece of equipment in the world. it did what i asked of it, which was enough, but it'd still be nice to have a better processor and whatnot. that weird whirring sound that it makes from time to time still freaks me out.

and in other updates: i'm finally reading the Bleach manga! my cousin burned it all onto a CD for me, so i have saved myself a lot of time. don't have to wait for downloads... that's a lot o' chapters to download, y'know. :P he also put all the FMA chapters so far on the CD, so i'm very extremely grateful to him. he also gave me a comic called Fable... which i will have to download a particular program to be able to read it, so i've still gotta take a look at that.

and... huh, i got nothin'. so i guess... that's all for now. :P TTFN!
hikaranko: (naruto)
first:

HAPPY BIRTHDAY CAITLIN!!!!

second:
watched Pirates of the Caribbean 2 the other day! i'll keep this brief: i loved it, that ending drove me nuts, and i really really really really really wanna fight the kracken. my brain is very KH oriented as of late... i couldn't stop myself from thinking about how much easier it would have been for everyone in the movie if Sora suddenly appeared out of nowhere. XD

okay that's all for now. i really just wanted to wish Caitlin a happy birthday. :D hope you're having a good one!
hikaranko: (naruto)
WHOOHOO!!

Manila heat kills me, but my computer has learned Japanese!! it's like a miracle!! XD 面白いです!i'm so amused and fascinated!
now i'll be able to check out MegaTokyo.com without that message popping up, telling me to install japanese on my computer. though i'm not really sure why it does that in the first place, 'cause there isn't a whole lot of japanese text on that site... oh well, whatever.

WAHAHAHA NARUTO 312 IS UP. i've gotta go read that... then check if FMA 60 is out yet. oh... also gotta upload to fanfic.net and e-mail my beta readers. wow. i guess this is what happens when i have limited internet access. :P

in other news, i finally got to see my high school friends the other day!! it was really really great to see them again. it was just like high school! except for the part where i had enough money to pay for myself and then some. XP we went to the arcade and hogged the hand game all to ourselves. we've gotten pretty rusty, so we really sucked. but it was a lot of fun anyway! XD

also watched The Lake House. it's nice, really. it's cute! and i guess i'm kinduva sucker for time alteration stuff because of my Back to the Future fandom. :P
apart from that, we did the typical hanging out, catching up on stuff thing that's always a lot more fun than it sounds. :P

so... yeah. currently unable to do much of anything because my sister passed on her runny nose and sore throat to me. i really hate being sick. really really really hate it.
hikaranko: (Default)

eeps! this is a day late, but...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY PAULA!!

hope you had a good one! :D

hikaranko: (Default)
Tears first.

CalState continues to make me angry with its odd GET site, which is like a really ghetto looking WebAdvisor. except for the part where CSULA doesn't let you pay online. which is, in my opinion, ridiculous, but whatever. i just finished registering for classes (gah, they start on monday!! WHYYY?!?!?!), but i had to e-mail the english department about letting me take ENGL 101. i got a bloody 162 on that English Placement Test thing! on my essay, which was scored from 2-12 (2 being the lowest), i got an 11! which rocks, i had no idea i was this smart (-_-;;). so anyway. i figure that since i did well on that, i should be allowed to take frikkin' ENGL 101.

Laughter later.

went to Disneyland yesterday! yaaaaay! i finally got to see Asimo! that little robot kicks my ass all over the place. i want one!! i want one. i shall call it Al-Momo, and it shall be mine. XD but yeah, we went to Disneyland. me, my sister, and my buddy P-chan from San Diego. she hadn't gone to Disneyland in a reeeeally long time, so she was really happy. she cried during the fireworks and Fantasmic!

we were really sad that Pirates was closed, but i suppose it's all for the better. and it was very strange going back to the NORMAL Haunted Mansion. i had gotten so used to seeing it decked out in pumpkins and candles and snow and totally Jack Skellington-ified. i miss it. >_<

we did a lot of filming while we were there. we had a reeeeally good camera! i was taping Fantasmic, and the zoom was really good. so i got to see Peter Pan and Hook fight in all their glory, and the princesses on their little floats and all the characters on the Mark Twain... it was cool. :D

but it was such a nice day to go!!! it was nice and sunny all day, and then it wasn't freezing cold at night. perfect Disneyland weather.

tralala. i am happy. :D

Kingdom Hearts 2 countdown: 3 more days, bitches!!! XD

edit// OMFG NARUTO 300 ALSKHROLNKSHRY28Y49UHXC!!!!
hikaranko: ("suave")

i swear i'm either bipolar or have ADD, because i am both extremely happy and majorly frustrated right now.

this has nothing to do with school, so yay!

i'm frustrated because something very strange is going on in this house. last night i pulled out a plate from the cabinet so i could have my dinner, and, strangely enough, it was wet. my cousin and i inspected the cabinet and found that most of the plates were wet. water had somehow leaked into the cabinet and got to the plates. we pulled 'em all out, dried 'em, and then put 'em back.

this morning, when i pulled out a plate for breakfast from the same cabinet, it was wet again. actually, it was wetter than last night. i pulled out all the plates and discovered that they were ALL wet, and what's worse, the water seemed to be pretty dirty. i decided i'd wash 'em again, because... ugh, it's just gross. so i washed every single plate that we have in the house this morning.

what's frustrating is the fact that i have no flippin' idea where all the dirty water is coming from. there is no way that so much water could have gotten into the cabinet! unless some pipe broke in the wall and seeped into the cabinet. but there's no evidence ANYWHERE of water breaking/soaking through the wall. the only plausible place that water could have come through is the crack at the BOTTOM of the cabinet. this doesn't explain why the TOP plate was the most wet.

anyways. until i know what the bloody hell happened right there, i'm not putting any plates in that cabinet. it's just too risky.

on the other hand, i am extremely happy because i still love the fanfics that i'm writing and my buddy who has been helping me out with it is gonna come up here for a few days! it'll be 3 days of madness with her around. and not the kind of madness where you... i dunno... do crazy stupid shit that no sane or sober person should ever consider doing... acting like a frat boy... whatever those types of people do. but it'll just be... i suppose "weirdness" is a more appropriate word. :P we're both rather nuts and it should be a lot of fun.

i'm excited for that. XD i'm gonna stuff so much FMA into her mind. bwahaha.

and OH!! look at this! YouTube has an endless supply of entertainment. :P as my sister put it: Gollum as a Dog.
and OH OH THIS REKINDLES MY EXCITEMENT FOR KH2. i have been suppressing it... trying not to think about so that i don't get too impatient... but man, oh man, i just can't resist the call of this game!! XD if it gets delayed one more time though, i swear..

heads will roll.

*glare*

hikaranko: (biidah!)

Getsuga Tenshou.

my days have been so full of Bleach. i've finally passed the point where i first started watching (-_-;;). and now Byakuya is unleashing his bankai, and i'm just waiting for Ichigo to unleash his. i already know it'll be awesome. :P

wahhh, tomorrow is monday, and i have absolutely no idea what i'm gonna do. both my sisters will be at work in LA, and my cousin is gonna be at school. (eep! ICHIGO! get your flying cloak back! i told you not to throw it to the wind! ooh, Hitsugaya.) i wanna bug my cousin and then possibly practice driving with his dad (my uncle, one of the cooler ones)... but if i was there he might be distracted and we'll just play video games and super smash all day long when he should be doing his homework. then again, he's a good kid, and his mom's pretty strict, so he might not get influenced to goof off. (heehee, Ishida's funny.)

oh! trip to Chapman on Thursday night-Friday afternoon: first thing i did when i got to my dorm was start packing up my stuff. the posters went down first, then i cleared out all the papers and miscellaneous stuffs in the drawers of my desk. put it all into my suitcase, which was also troublesome because that suitcase was already half-filled by the spare sheets for the bed. but anyways, yeah, i packed and packed. i was talking to my roomie at the same time and just telling her about what was going on. she was leaving soon though, so we didn't talk for very long. i think i was in the dorm for all of ten minutes before i was attacked. leave it to scooby and the gang to jump me first. XD (OMG ICHIGO BANKAI!! ohhhh... he's so fast...)

so they hung around my dorm for a little while. and then left. and then i went to dinner. wasn't really sure what i was gonna eat, because i'm pretty sure my ID won't work for me anymore. but when i walked in, i thought i'd go sit with the anime club. and as i walked toward 'em, Jake yelled out and everyone started to clap. it was pretty funny. :P (is Ganju slowly losing his bandages? i didn't really notice. "Fuzzy-moustache-kun"?? Ishida, you silly fool.) so i talked to people about what's happening, and even though i am apparently going to be sorely missed, it's still for the best. my dinner was stolen fries from Amy-chan's basket. (whoa... having serious deja-vu here. Byakuya vs Bankai Ichigo = Gaara vs unweighted Rock Lee.)

anime club was cool. Trinity Blood seems awesome, and i really hope i get to go to Chapman this Thursday again to see the next part. :P then... due to lack of Azumangah Daioh, we watched this odd anime about this girl who just starts work at this animation studio. hmm... why does that seem familiar? ;) but we didn't even finish that, because the projector just up and DIED. just like that.

returned to the dorms and hung out with the Scooby gang. Scooby has this Advent Children Cloud figure, with his crazy bike and sword and everything. which i was playing with. XP also showed her my Kingdom Hearts video to "Anthem of Our Dying Day" (which i will someday show to the anime club). whee! fun times! i was planning on visiting the ninja floor if it didn't get too late, but when i realized it was around midnight i thought it might be better not to bother them because they have class in the morning. so i watched some more Bleach and fell asleep in the middle. :P

Friday... i already discussed Friday. ^_^;; and my stress about losing my Narutimate Hero 2 data AGAIN. i guess it's okay, 'cause i will definitely get Narutimate 3. and i will NOT show that to the small cousins.

(OMG ICHIGO DON'T DIE. ... whoa now. WHOA NOW!!! HOLLOW ICHIGO HOLY AOSKJLANDCAOUWR!!! AWAAAAAAAAAA!!!! ICHIGO VS HOLLOW ICHIGO!!!!)

... O_O

holy damn. i apologize for the Bleach commentary/reaction stuff. but this is crazy and i have no one to talk to. ...okay, yeah, i'm gonna go now. ^_^;;

hikaranko: (mischief)
that makes three people who've said that to me this morning. which basically covers everyone who lives in this house (and then some). XD

i have arrived at Walnut. i shall now carry out the remainder of my vacation in this little pinoy town. :P i don't know why people think i'm going all the way back to the philippines (though i would most certainly like to... i had plans for if i went back to manila), but i'm just in Walnut with my relatives. my parents are flying in on sunday, so that's exciting. i really hope my mom got my cousin's copy of Narutimate for me... i'm gonna be sad if she didn't get it.

anyways... i left chapman at about 9:15, even though my sister arrived at around 7:30. i basically let my sister KO herself on my bed while i continued to gather my things. then took a shower and grabbed books, walked over to Argyros and sold my textbooks. i got $42. yay! cash! now i don't have to find an ATM to withdraw! it is always good to have cash. although i am a little bit annoyed that the huge Odyssey book only went for $1.50. i expected at least a round $2, but no. didn't sell Don Quixote because i like it. :D and since i stayed up until about 3 AM finishing off the Japanese language lab paper thing, i dropped it off at the language office.

i'm a little hyped up right now. had 3 sugar donuts and a cup of milk a little while ago. 8D (i hope that smilie looks as crazed as i want it to)

so today is the OFFICIAL "school over. vacation=very yes" post. but since that title is already used, i settled for somethin' else. :D

last night was funny. we partied in Caitlin and Phaedra (waaah, i don't know how to spell names! T_T)'s room. me, TK, Caitlin, Vinnie, Phaedra, Jared, and Alison at first. we all left once to grab beverages at Starbucks, and on the way back i visited Aaron. showed him the new KH2 goodness and we both had excited freakouts over all things Kingdom Hearts. we love Mickey's newfound badass-ness. also reconfirmed my want of a DS. oh my oh my. really. that little handheld never ceases to amaze me.
we then went back to Phae and Caitlin's room and continued our party. Amy-chan joined us and we watched Iron Chef. the instant we found out what the secret ingredient was, Victoria exploded from the door, pointing at Amy and laughing.
"SQUID!!!!!"
the whole time, though, we were playing this game. name a pop-culture/nerdy/geeky/anything that starts with the last letter of the word said by the person before you. it was oodles of fun. :D we played it from Starbucks all the way until midnight-ish, when Caitlin had to boot us out of the room so she could sleep. understandable. 8 o'clock exams are horrible. but yeah, it was soooo much fun.

so... life is good. :) and i shall celebrate my victory over all odds, and my slight gain in riches. 'course... i had to spend for gas and donuts. but hey, the gas at the Shell station in anaheim, right off the 57, was only $2.11!!! LIFE IS GOOD! and donuts are delish.

um... yes ... i just said "delish." XD

*sigh*

Nov. 26th, 2005 12:00 am
hikaranko: (sora)

well... things don't always work out according to plan, do they? *sigh* basically, tragedy has struck and Lesley isn't coming to Chapman anymore. which renders us in a very helpless position of having no ready car. it also hurts our feelings and makes us sad, lonely, and miserable. so we've been getting around via cab, which is a very expensive process... *sigh again* we're quickly becoming poor.

but anyways... we spent the afternoon today at Downtown Disney. :P we watched HP4! i still enjoy the movie. and getting to watch it again let me see what i overlooked and therefore better understand things. ...hey. i don't read the books! i need time to process and absorb. i'm not that spongey.

so yes. HP4 was goooood. i love the bathrooms at Downtown Disney's AMC. they're so pretty! it's like a hotel lobby in there!

continued to wander Downtown Disney. we entered some stores and had good looks around. took a nice tour of the inside of World of Disney, and a brief one of the ESPN Zone. i didn't know there was an arcade up there! i'm fascinated!! XD then... um... i'm not sure why, but we wandered around in the space between Disneyland and California Adventure. and for some reason that i don't understand, there was this huge mass of people crowded around the "F" and the "O" in "California". i went over there, but i didn't see anything interesting. there was no one important/cool surrounded by people. well, not that i could see, anyway. i just chalked it up to the weirdness of the human race.

at any rate, we hung around the area for a long time. like, seriously.  long enough to watch the fireworks from the La Brea Bakery cafe thing place.  i could kinda hear the music from there, but the explosions of the fireworks kinda drowned it out.  and it's not like anybody else really seemed to care... we'll see it tomorrow night. it'll be okay. :)

ugh. *shiver* it's gonna be cold tomorrow.

curses.

but i'm still excited.

hikaranko: (naruto)

i spent actual Thanksgiving with my family... meals, and whatnot. my best friend Krissy arrived from San Diego on Wednesday afternoon, so she got to spend Thanksgiving with my crazy family. XD the turkey was nummy. it made us all reeeeeeeeally sleepy. so Krissy totally slept half the afternoon away. it was also a joint celebration for my niece's 7th birthday, so there was a pinata full of candy... and money. i was once again reduced to fighting off small children for dollar bills. but this time, i wasn't alone. my sisters joined me. in fact, Katherine snatched a quarter from a five year old. ...she gave it back, but still. it was funny. :D

anyways... after all that celebrating and eating and family bonding, off we went. i had to repack all of my things in preparation to head back to the Chapman dorms. and then we went to LAX to pick up two of my guy friends from high school. from there, we stopped by my sister's boyfriend's house for yet another bite to eat and then finally made way for Chapman.

plans for tomorrow are somewhat sketchy. we're basically going to just hang around until Lesley gets here. she'll have a car! wheeee!!! then we'll be able to come and go as we please. :P there's discussion of going to Hollywood and watching Harry Potter at the Mann Theater, or something along those lines. then on Saturday, we're going to spend the whole day at Disneyland.  Opening to closing.  ALL DAY.  it's a blockout for me, but if i'm going to be there all day long with my friends, the $30 will be totally worth it.

so... i'm really excited! XD
